Elizabeth Ruiz Navarro

Elizabeth Ruiz Navarro earned her J.D. and LL.M. in U.S. and Transnational Law from the University of Miami School of Law in 2025. While at the University of Miami, she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Transactional Skills and was awarded a Cuban American Bar Association Scholarship. She also served as a Dean’s Fellow for the Legal Communication course and for Introduction to U.S. Law, assisting with course instruction and leading review sessions for international law students.

Before earning her U.S. law degree, Ms. Ruiz Navarro received her law degree from the University of Havana School of Law in Cuba and practiced law in Cuba for nearly a decade, focusing primarily on corporate and transactional matters and intellectual property. Her experience included drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, advising clients on corporate and contractual matters, and managing international trademark portfolios and trademark prosecution matters.

After relocating to the United States, Ms. Ruiz Navarro gained experience in complex commercial litigation and international arbitration before joining Weissman & Dervishi, P.A. in 2026.

Ms. Ruiz Navarro was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2026. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
